About the Club
The bowling club is an official club sport at Virginia Tech. Any student attending Virginia Tech is welcome to join the club. The club brings together students with a common interest and/or love for bowling. We have all levels of experience, from casual to competitive play, with many opportunities to learn how to improve your game. No experience or equipment is required but is suggested for those who want to compete. So come out and check us out! The bowling club has a bowling team for competitive bowlers. There are two teams; men, women, or mixed, where members are selected based on performance during tryouts. The Virginia Tech Bowling Team travels up to 10 tournaments during the school year and compete against other colleges and universities. If you are interested or have questions about the bowling team, please contact Chris. The bowling club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:30pm and 10pm on Wednesday at NRV Superbowl , where we discuss club matters and hold practice. We host several fundraising events and help out NRV with various activities. Medical release and insurance forms will need to be filled out. Membership dues are paid on a year or semester basis.
